95/365 Hey look! It’s Darwin!

After my fifth time staying at the Mirage I finally made it out back to see Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden & Dolphin Habitat.  Walking by one of the dolphin tanks I said to ‘M’ “Oh! Look! They’re teaching a new trainer”!  For some reason this concept made me really happy.

Then he looked at me and said “No.  That’s just a tourist.  Didn’t you see the sign where you could pay and they’ll teach you how to be a dolphin trainer in an hour”.  To which my response was “Oh…. No…. I guess I missed that”.

Regardless of bubble busting, I still thought it was cool!

86/365 I stop traffic

Somehow, traveling on a trip with 20+ people, I found myself alone for a few moments.  I was standing in the middle of a Vegas casino amusing myself by taking pictures of the wall.  I know…. I’m easily entertained.  And no, I don’t gamble.  All those blinky lights, I’d rather spend my time gawking and taking pictures!  Once I stopped taking pictures, I turned around and was checking ’em out on my viewfinder.

I realized I had a group of people who had stopped walking and were standing and waiting so I could take my picture.  Oops.  I politely told them they may continue walking I was “just looking” and they gave me that baffled look I tend to get from strangers and continued on their way.

So that’s my story for the day, and here’s my picture of lights on a wall.
